“I met Peggie at my son’s elementary school Career Day. We connected immediately and I asked if she would be interested in coming to a ‘Harry Potter’ class that I teach to 5-7 year olds. I have been teaching this class for a while and have a pretty good gig going with the kids but when Peggie came, she blew me out of the water!!! The kids loved her! She is kind and familiar with kids, she is down and dirty on the floor with them, and she let them call her by her first name while maintaining the respect of a teacher. I listened to Peggie as she described some characteristics of children, one by one (NOT predictions), and each description was so absolutely bang-on that I was furiously scribbling so that I would be able to call the child’s mother after school and explain what I had heard.
